John Hodgson

  • Played for the club 1882 to 1893

  • President from 1887 to 1888 & 1890 to (at least) 1892

  • Won the Club Championship in 1889

 

Mr H. Stanford

  • Played for the club 1893 to 1948

  • Won the Club Championship in 1910 & 1918

  • Played in the winning County Cup team in 1920

  • Secretary & Treasurer from 1932 to 1938

  • President from 1939 to (at least) 1947

  • Commemorated in 1947 with the naming of the Stanford Cup

 

Mr G. A. Youngman

  • Played for the club 1895 to 1937

  • Secretary from 1900 to 1905

Mr H. F. Reed

  • Played for the club 1919 to 1979

  • Won the Club Championship in 1924

  • Played in the winning County Cup team in 1956

  • President from 1961 to (at least) 1979

  • Appointed M.B.E (before 1979)

  • Left a legacy of £200 in his will, which was used in 1985 to purchase the Reed Memorial Shield

 

Mr H. Ransom

  • Played for the club 1920 to 1966

  • Played in the winning County Cup team in 1920

  • Won the Club Championship in 1925

  • President from 1932 to 1937

  • Made Honorary Life Member in 1937

 

Mr F. J. Reynolds

  • Played for the club 1948 to 1961

  • In 1957 he presented the club with 14 wooden match boards and sets, which he made by hand.

  • Commemorated in 1961 with the naming of the Reynolds Cup

 

Dave Tame

  • Played for the club 1957 to 2004

  • Match Captain in 1965

  • Highest grade 164 in the 1980’s

  • President from 1994 to 1995

 

Brian Stock

Michael Cook
